A few questions:

How does the HBK in the screenshots (the one with the AC5/Mgun) get to 5xML, 1xSL? Is there a energy hardpoint in the CT?

The hardpoint model represented here seems to be what we saw in the Dev blog last month. I.e. hardpoints restrict the number of a type of weapon in a location, but not the size. I.e. you could make a hunchback with a PPC in each arm by stripping out the AC20 and putting them in the hardpoints previously occupied by the MLs. Is this an old build, or is this still the model that you're going with?

The Atlas instantly shut down at 100% heat.

So I guess no override?

As i see, those Hunchback had:

5x MLAS (2-2 in the two arms, and one in the Head?)
1x AC/5 (right torso)
1x MG (right torso)

EDIT:

In the video we can see the Center Torso got 2 Energy hardpoint too.

There's none in the video. Only lasers instead of them. :rolleyes:

It's not a bug, it's just not tuned, timing-wise.

Question:

In the video at 0:47 the jenner is in the water firing lasers and I noticed that the heat dissipation is the same as out of water. It was my belief that water was a natural coolant (as in MW3), so Im curious if this is going to be addressed later? Otherwise, loved the video and the mech lab demo. Beautifully done.

So, MechLab. The Hunchback does not appear to visually change. Are you guys not having mechs change visually when you customize them, or is it just not put in game fully yet?

I like that there are already TABS for MechWarrior Info (assume warrior stats etc.) - Merc HQ - Statistic (assume weapon stats) and - Store.

4 Mech Bays right off. Makes sense for the DropShip Mode. ;)

Weapon Pricing seems to be inline with BT whereas ammo cost are much reduced (approx. 1/5th) given what can be seen. I like it. ;)

In the Assault class video the Cat makes excessive use of it's PPCs. Look closer!

Out of curiosity, why does the AC20 repeatedly miss despite the torso crosshair being over a mech? Is this the convergence system at work? Where does it show the convergence level of your weapons?

I know this is an early glimpse at a work in progress, but I have to wonder if there will be any cosmetic change to the custom variants made in the mechlab? As in the swapped AC20 looking Exactly like the AC5 of the ForumUserKiller variant and the additional small lasers in the arms not being visible with the existent medium lasers on the same variant.
I guess I just want to make it known that I will be unhappy if I end up seeing PPC blasts coming out of medium laser ports.
