Oh man really? you know how boring that is after mission 50, 200, 1000, 2500?

Que World of Tanks flash back ........... Arrgh ! :( <_<

.... My Appologies ....

I'm excited about the game but not so excited about such a simple game mode.

Here's to hoping something much more creative is in the works very shortly after release.

Care to come up with a better game mode? Something that won't get old after 1000+ matches.

MWO is a MVP product; you can expect features like "more in-depth winning conditions" down the line. If they were going to put everything that everyone wanted into the game before release, we'd have to wait til 2014. Let them release the game and then release subsequent "feature" updates down the line.

Frost
Sure I can .... Show me the money first.

I can suggest all day long, come up with nifty animated videos, full on specs and story lines what does that get me? Nada

Aegis

I have heard that before initially that is my knee jerk reaction because of past experience. No doubt the guy with 2,699 posts must have read that somewhere that additional game modes are in the works, so I trust you.

My concern when and will it happen?

Additionally have you ever played with other random people with no coordination or communication in a game where your advancement is based solely on your group acting as a team? In this game unlike BF3 you don't respawn so now your out unitl the match ends. You can be the best player ever and still lose, that does carry a certain amount of aggravation.

I have yet to read how you will be able to team up to play cooperatively anyone know where that’s at?

Even if the win conditions are easily communicated, the complexity of actually achieving it due to mech choices, mech loudout choices, positioning and movement choices and tactical techniques can make it entertaining for a long time.

I mean, you could almost ask something like "Destroy the enemy team or plant and detonate the bomb at one of the bombsites? Who would want to play that for hundreds or thousands of times?" The answer to that would be a lot of people.

Also, we need surfing in MWO B)

I thought this thread was going to be a debate as to which win condition should net players more experience... personally I think destroying all enemy mechs should net the most exp.

I know what you are saying the mech Lab looks cool should be interesting.

However heres what I picked up from a simular game. Someone always messes up. No one listens to a plan if there is one or even if you chat ot text to make one. There are team killers galore. Unless people work as a team you are quite possibly doomed to fail 60% or more of the time. If one side is stacked with a coordinated lance pub players get smoked most of the time = no fun for them.

What levels the playing field a little bit is objective based game play that would be geared for different classes of mechs or each objective is a certian value. Those objectives can be many different things to spice up the game.

Variety is the spice of life so I hope these guys take note
