I'd bet you didn't bother to look at the amount of money you started with before the match. You just watched the mech bay after the match, see your current cbills there, and then watch them decline after you repaired and re-armed.
The other responders are correct, you should know to not automatically rearm your mech right now, allow it to fill for free up to 75% of your ammo.
Just wait til you can go out and farm Artemis ammo from NPCs when they implement that part of the game...just don't hold your breath, okay? 8-)

actually, I did. I oddly actually started a match with an EVEN 1,000,000 C-bills, how the hell I managed to wind up with an EVEN amount is beyond me, BUT, post match, BEFORE repairs/reload? 1,200,000. after repairs and reload? 97,249. founders atlas.
