Like many a developer has done, PGI might actually grace* the presence of gamers with an appearance. Since PGI's colors are Black and Gold, I'm thinking they should have their own skin that is gold with black trim, and the PGI logo for insignia.

At will, they can actually cloak in and out of view or even toggle invincibility mode** by emanating heatwaves (as if the Mech were overheating) all over the Mech's body. That way, PGI can by stylin when they make their cameos into public games.

I'd like to think that we're better than that. When engaging the enemy, you should attack targets that have the most potential threat first. That would put Paul distinctly last.

I believe it was said that if one leg was destroyed it slowed you to a crawl(that gamespy gameplay review) but its unknown whether if both legs are destroyed it will completely stall us or kill us.

I was thinking this would be a dev appreciation thread.

That said, I really do appreciate the way Paul operates. Most lead devs would never wade onto a forum without fifty PR people looking over their shoulder and a huge dramatic fuss is made about everything; the other side of the spectrum are complete psychopaths like Derek Smart who only come onto forums to engage in hilarious flame wars.

Paul is a lead dev who comes on the thread and acts like one of us. A dev of the people, you might say. I think that's awesome and something that's way too rare out there today.

It has to be the trolling. That's what makes him fit right in I think.

The PGI team is certainly far better about their forum presence than other teams I have seen in past games. Direct communication rather than hiding the team and not letting them interact with the community makes a big difference.

No, because he can cheat (and I could bet my mech that he will do that) and also, he draws all your missiles to him, so if you don't kill him right away, all of your missiles will be useless in the match.

So yes, he is the last from the potentialperspective, but from the battlefield perspective, he is the 1st pony to shoot.
