Hands down the Charger. It seems to be totally useless, but running up to slower medium mechs and smacking them in the cockpit puts me into fits of giggles.

My kryptonite is the Rifleman.
The original unseen is such a cool looking mech, but the design almost unplayable, having problems with heat mitigation and armor.

It s followed closely by the Catapult.
I don't know if it is punishment for past misdeeds, or a gypsy curse, but 9 out of 10 tabletop battles end with a headshot on my virtually undamaged catapult.

Apparently the Dragon is considered to have 'low damage' output, so I'll use that as mine.

Though my UrbanMech would be an UrbanMech ;)

I think the Ubrie takes the cake, it can't move at all but it can pack a punch.
Other than that...
The Thor or the Mad Cat II. I know, I know, everyone loves that Miffed Kitty, but for some reason I have never had any luck with it. Same with the Thor. I always seem to get it shot out from under me.

Dragon 1N ,really fast but underarmed in many peoples opinions. Still I love to pilot it and will most likely choose it for my first mech upon release.

the Sirocco is probably mine. Its a blatant ripoff of the At-At in Star Wars, but the thing just looks intimidating as all hell.

2x Ultra AC 10 and six MLAS give the thing awesome close in power too.

Albatross ALB-3U

Eclectic weapons. Less armor than a Perseus (which can almost emulate it's loadout). An IS large pulse laser (which is also a favorite of mine). It's no wonder I don't see much praise for it. But I love it.

It's my go to assault 'Mech, and with production starting in 3053, I'm hoping we'll see it in game eventually.

Locust. No Jumpjets, minimal armament and armor, and speed is your only friend.

Nonetheless I would use it against assault mechs in the original mechwarrior game... because the whole rear of the mech had less armor (or seemed to) you could shoot their legs out from under them easily. Using terrain you could abuse their AI and get behind them without a scratch.

hatchetman or firestarter

chris

also being American Indian I so would have named the hatchetman the Tomahawk and allowed the pilot to throw it then go pick it up upto 90 meters. Urban love at its finest.

The Warhammer.

The WHM-6R is under armored for its weight class, and in MPBT it was very easy to leg. Despite that, it always has a place in my heart as a fun mech to drive.

My "personal Urbanmech" is the ZPH-1A Tarantula.
One of my all time favorite Mechs. I love the look, the speed and its enormous jump capabilities.

How could I have forgotten the charger....

or the half-Assassin, because it isn't particularly good at anything except wasting deployment tonage.

Most people in here have listed very good Battlemechs.

Besides the Urbanmech itself, I'd have to say the Charger. I'm in love with the idea of an Assault scout (that isn't 4/6!), and also the idea that it was meant to just bull rush any enemies and crush them. Since MWO actually has a charge ability, I'd love to see the Charger make an appearance so I can use it for its namesake.

The Hellbringer (Loki). This thing is insanely underarmored, undergunned and the designers apparently decided to use the prime configuration as a christmas tree. Despite all of this, It just looks like it's ready to brawl.

Like the urby being the lightest brawler I've ever seen, the Hellbringer is the heaviest scout mech that I've ever seen.

It's an upgunned-with-ClanTech Warhammer config that moves 5/8, plus has ECM, a Targeting COmputer, and BAP... That's undergunned how?

The Hellbringer(Loki), #5 Nailgun Nixon hit this one on the head for me. The mech has more weapons and junk than it could use safely, that combined with the weak armor and lack of heat management makes it.... insane. Despite all that it is still a great looking mech that I keep using for some reason.

^^^ This, however...

Assassin... I liked the speed combined with the variety of weapons (ML, LRM5, SRM2). It's made for eating up Stingers, Wasps, etc...

it's a good mech... I remember driving one of those in one of the Btech MU*'s... (don't remember which one now) :)

Probably the QKD-4G Quickdraw. My mind knows it has terrible armor, vulnerable leg actuators, and mostly close-range weapons, half of which are wasted on the rear arc, but I still love the damn thing. I blame MW2 Mercs...

I also have a soft spot for the undergunned and underarmored ZEU-6S Zeus, and the armless, overgunned/under-heatsinked STK-3F Stalker.

My affection for the Guillotine only really applies if using the optional "quirks" ruleset that gives it multiple technical difficulties - otherwise it's damn solid.

My Ubermech none other than the
Hussar HSR 200-D

Sure it goes 9/14 on the board but with only 26 points of FF armor one small laser can cause a crit. All so you blast away with one ER Large Laser.

BV 636
Cost 2,790,840

Comstars greatest blunder.

Fear the Hussar HSR 200-D
