Bought my first mech and played like 5 matches
each time i got like 2500 to 50 xps
now my total GXP is tiny amount compared to what is awarded after a match
My trial xps (not sure what to call those) matches whats awarded after a match
so according to my calculations i should have like 50k gxp
I show 103 gxp
is there a reduction or something i am missing?

GXP is a small percentage of the mech xp that you earn. Unlike mech xp, which can only be spent on the pilot skills for that particular chassis, gxp can be spent on any chassis. But mainly gxp is meant for unlocking module options.
Go to pilot skills find your chassis, spend the mech xp you got on bonusses, enjoy better mech performace!

Where do you use GXP at? I only see MC or C-bills.

click the pilot lab tab, then click the pilot trees tab. you will find several very expensive modules that are bought in GXP

General XP can be used to upgrade your pilot skill tree or can be used to unlock mech skills where you lack sufficient mech xp. However it accrues at a very slow rate and it is advisable therefore to spend it only on pilot skills.
You can spend MC to convert unused mech XP over to GXP.

GXP is a small percentage of your xp earned per match. You get 0 xp for trials so you have only been earning xp since you purchased a mech.
