Anyone know how to set up an IRC for this then? I keep refreshing pages but it would be neat to talk to folks in real time.

There kind of is a IRC, I would really like for them to make a chatroom though that has a link next to forum... i guess there is the issue of moderator for that chat or things could get VERY ugly

That and would need to find a way to keep it from becoming an uber lag fest as some web chatrooms can become.

I have that problem too. I cannot force myself to do anything else, than chatting and giving ideas, or commenting ideas of others. Can you imagine, how far will it go, when the game launches?

That is why I was thinking an ICQ/IRC type chat might work if folks wanted to set one up. The devs have enough to handle and I doubt it could be moderated well enough anyway if put into the site here.

Same for me. I am just glued to MWO site and forums. Last three days my regular job performance went like this

I think that "I am so overexcited" thing will vanish in a couple of days. Unless devs keep feeding us small portions of info/artwork every day.

Once a MechWarrior! Always a Mechwarrior!

I just added 4 Friends who were Pilots I fought alongside 6-7 years ago. It doesn't get much better than that really. B)

I think I just got the "Little Kid in Me" back again. ;)

And I can't seem to stop :D ing

I sure have. I'm trying to play Aurora 4x here, but I find myself spending more time browsing this forum then actially playing...

It really is amazing how insanely dedicated the Mechwarrior / Battletech fan community is compared to a lot of other franchises. Pat yourselves on the back folks :D

yeah... very excited and a little nervous. MWO really needs to hit it out of the park with solid gameplay and features. I don't simply want another MW title. I want this game to be the harbinger for a renewed franchise. I want a revolution.

First night my roommate showed me the site, I staggered to bed at 3AM cursing the ebil work thing for tearing me away from here. Now every day, first thing I check, last thing I see before sweet dreams of passive radar recon runs deep into enemy territory. (H#LL I'm postin from work when I should be finishing the gorram job!!!!!)

TRUE

So I hurt my back 3 days ago and saw the announcement a few hours after it showed up. I instantly came here and since my back will take at least a week to heal...I've been here nonstop for pretty much 3 days. And I'll be here a while. When I get up to hobble to the kitchen for food I log on my iphone. Sigh.

Addictions are ugly. Unless it's Battletech, then it's beautiful ^.^
