Because it's used in a common derogation/insult/dammit-I-don't-know-the-part-of-speech, to wit: "**** me".

It has been stated by a pgi guy that the profanity filter is multi-lingual, so innocuous words in english that are profanity in other languages (french me guesses) are filtered out.

Do you think that b-i-t-e spells a naughty word in French? Or German? Or Tagalog?
