Truthfully, I am quite shocked at the choice of this picture and the placement of the MWO/PGI advertisement.

Any screen shot saved to desktop from any of the trailers and used as a background is better than this. All of the current repaints are better than this. But art is in the eye of the beholder and this to me is not a very good choice especially with the Advert for PGI/MWO front and center instead of watermarked or off center. The Mech, the scenery should be the centerpiece of this shot, but sadly they aren't.

Hope future desktop backgrounds are much better than this.

I like the wallpaper quite a bit. It is a nice relaxing easy on the eyes theme. Just what I look for in a desktop. as I don't like crazy colors, loud graphics etc for a background.

Major props for making some backgrounds. Can't say I'm a particular fan of this one picture though. Not that I don't like the more 'artsy' style or anything, there's just not enough going on (and I generally don't like logos). Mind you, I dislike using in-game type screenshots for backgrounds, since they aren't artsy. I'll stick with the Mad Cat blueprint as my background for now, but I look forwards to any new backdrops you guys put out! I say continue the art direction, since any of us can make a background from an in-game screenshot or vid capture.

I had higher hopes. It's not bad, don't get me wrong, but it isn't "iconic". Take away the logos and tags at the bottom, how quickly do you even know what game it is for? Is that a communications tower or a Jenner? Meh. 6.5/10 for being the first released wallpaper.

You guys are crazy who think "meh". So glad they didn't have some ridiculous theme with enough colors to give an epileptic a seizure. Are you guys the same people who have tacky loud colors and wallpapers in your house? I always wondered who those people were.

It's a nice image (and to those who can't tell that's a Jenner you really need to have your eyes checked). But I agree with others that it's not really a great choice for a wallpaper... 1) Get rid of all the logos.... I don't like logos all over my desktop... especially that blatantly 'in your face'. That alone would make a huge difference.. But for another most of us want to see Mechs in action not just a silhouette in a storm/cloud/fog/whatever that is.

Humm do not specially like it, too bright white and little detail. I would prefer another with more colour and better visible mech. (and a bit darker so i dont blind myself).
