My question is simple does anyone know from some twitter/facebook/dev blog if MWO will support 3d looking assessories from launch?

Nothing 100% has been confirmed, but I see a very good chance TrackIR will be supported.

lol

I was asked not to post that anymore. It was confusing people. (I take it as a pat on the back) :)

But man oh man, I would LOVE me some TrackIR 4/5 integration.

The possibility of using TrackIr4 or the newer 5 would be extremely welcomed, by me personally and by the community i think im safe to assume.

i love the idea of trackir in mechwarrior, but then what will my hat switches do?? it would really be incredible if the devs decided to add support for such neat hardware. my guess is they wont have track ir support, at least at launch, i base that off of gut ( nothing )

It'd be great if it is supported. As for hat switches... dude, you don't know what a programmable HOTAS is?

Depends on which one you have but with mine, a Thrustmaster HOTAS Cougar, I can basically program every single button/hat/rotary to do almost anything I want with them pertaining to software. It's quite complex, like writing software code almost. :)

From what I remember they were talking to them about including it, but nothing has been confirmed. Looks like it would be easy to implement as they already support independent head movement in the cockpit from the videos.

I really hope for TrackIR integration.

I am so used to it from using flight simulators that it would either make or break the game depending if it's in or not.

I did a quick search, and I did read on the naturalpoint forums that the devs here do have the SDK for testing purposes... But of course, it's not a guarantee!!

I just ordered my trackir 5 this weekend, so im expecting to have it start of this week.

Can't wait to try it in ArmA, DayZ and some of my flight sims. :D
