Where can I find a listing of mechs and the HOUSE's they were built for? I've seen the Sarna and Wiki sites and they have a great listing with tons of info but I'm looking for a listing by each House. Just curious what mechs were specific to Davion or Kurita or whoever. Thanks if anyone can produce a good link to the info.

Well... I dont have a full list but I do know that the Commando is built in (Canon) history in only 2 locations. Steiner and The Taurian Concordat.

The Dragon is Kurita only
The Atlas is built in Steiner, Davion and Kurita
And the Raven was Lio only.

Those are the ones off the top of my head.

Most are made in more then one.

For specific mechs, probarbly the easiest way to tell is look at the listed manufacturers on Sarna as each build for certain factions

Just select the Units tab, advanced search and highlight Technology: Inner Sphere, Faction: preferred house and General Lists: Inner Sphere General.

It still has some issues, but it is fairly accurate.

The Raven is NOT produced outside of the CC for a long time.

Sarna lists out what is the production of each house. Have to pay attention to the notes and see when things were produced.

For our time frame this is who makes what. Remember that a lot of these mechs were spread over the IS even if one house makes them. Others weren't common outside of their 'home' faction. The Dragon being a good example.

AS7-D = DC, FS and LC
AWS8-8 = FWL
CPLT = Not in production
DRG-1N = DC
CN9-A = FS
HBK = FWL
CDA = FWL
Raven = CC
Jenner = DC, if you look in the original 3025 TRO the factory was destroyed. However in the 3050 TRO they seem to be back in production.

Anyone of the Mechwarrior books does list mech for a starting player. You can check BattleTechWiki Look up each House and see check each factory. That site is using 3067 info, but, using some research you can figure out what is availible in 3049.

if you go on sarna you can see the different house mechs listed. unfortunately, you will have to read them to sort out the 3050 ones

It'd be pretty cool if our mech choices were based on House but I don't think it is.

Every house has 1 or 2 mechs that they alone can produce. Most mechs are made in multiple houses It's just that they build specific variants to that chassis. like the catapult k variant is a kurita made catapult.

The record sheet straight-up says the Cicada is produced solely in the Free World's League after the fall of the Star League.
The Raven, as far as the sheet states, is produced solely by the Capellan Confederation.
The Dragon was privately commissioned by the Draconis Combine.
The Awesome is pretty much everywhere (it was a Star League 'Mech), but the Free World's League produce a specialized variant, the AWS-9M.
The Centurion is pretty much everywhere, though the Federated Suns/Federated Commonwealth produce a specialized variant.

there exist special Davion Chassis of: Wasp, Atlas, Battlemaster, Crusader, Phoenixhawk, Marauder, Rifleman, Shadowhawk, Warhammer

maybe i forgot some but this is for now and from brain...

Davion Chassis mostly got more armor and heatsinks, Kurita pulls out JumpJets of Phoenixhawk, Wolverine, Catapult and Shadowhawk (no option if u ask me...)

Bell belonged to the Capellan Confederation until about 3028ish. They might not control it any more but they would have had it producing Clints for them throughout the Succession Wars. Lots of time to fill their ranks with these Mechs even if that can't make new ones anymore. It's not just a matter of who currently controls these factory worlds but who controlled them in the past and for how long.

It's a middle-ground solution: Anyone in any House/merc can purchase any mech, but the different Houses have different mech at different prices, so your House choice will affect which mechs are more affordable but they won't force anyone into only picking certain mechs.

I don´t know where u got your informatíon from but concearning to Catapult someone fooled you massively...

From 3050 Technical Readout:

The Catapult, wich is used mainly in the CC, does exist in other Successor State militaries in small numbers. It is unlikely that these non-Liao Catapults will be earmarked to receive new technology, but the Capellansare planning a major field refit that will mandate new tactics on the part of Capellan commanders...
...Capellan military strategist are beginning to redeploy Mechs to combine one, two, or even three Catapults in the same HQs unit with a Raven... (I wonder how they will manage this without producing the Catapult at Corey, Liao space, where Catapults major Factory is planted...)
