Just enjoy the thought of a heat and damage dealing ammo based energy weapon. Especially since it's a better version than the clantech variant. And a hatchet? Oh yeah, give me my giant robot barbarian warrior, jumping from the building tops and cleaving light mechs in twain.

Not a big fan of the LB's nor missiles actually, even on the TT, they just don't float my boat. AC's are ok, Ultra AC's are better of course, but I certainly prefer the ones I listed above.
I generally don't like stuff that has to have ammo, except for the gauss, but I would think about taking an AC/20 or 10.

Or SRMs with tandem warheads from the tactical Handbooks would be nice.
Always priceless the look in the face of some *** **** Atlas pilots when they got stript of their weapons by through armor crits.
In MW4 paired doubble PPC with double UAC5

Dual PPC for range/initial punch, SRMs (especially streaks) give good damage at short range, same with the lasers and they won't run out of ammo.

LBX AC-20 - can't go wrong with these in a brawl, especially in multiples
Honorable Mention:
Linked Capacitors PPC (from MW4) - pewpewpew

Star League tech, would be the ER large laser, especially it's coupled with a Gauss Rifle in a co-axial arrangement. Use the laser to line your shot and the gauss to punch through.
A useful setup on a Thanatos.

It is such an iconic BattleTech weapon. And though not so in the BT universe, here in our world, something similar was thought up by Nikola Tesla. http://www.pbs.org/t...ll_wendwar.html

Also, I'm pretty partial to the AutoCannons. I think they have ridiculous weight requirements though. They should really swap weight costs with missiles, at least in MW4 :/ Make me take more ammo or something.
