Jenner
Hunchback
Catapult
Atlas

Which one are you adopting?

In thinking Quasimodo.

I was hoping for a Dragon to be in the starting lineup, if the starting choices are these 4 (which is what it looks like now) then I'll go with a Catapult. close enough.

I plan on buying a Centurion anyway so I probably won't go for the hunchback. Hard to say which of the other 3 since I would like them all!

Gotta be the Jenner. Get used to that scouting role from the start

hmm, probably Hunchback for me. I like having catapults around but never liked being firesupport myself. (Not to mention, in an urban enviroment, the catapult just dies)

Keep in mind that an Atlas costs 2.5x the price of a Hunchback (according to the TT rules)... so your maintenance bills will probably reflect that.

Either Jenner or Hunchback. Leaning towards Hunchback, because I'd not sure if the recon role is truly for me without trying it first.

Torn between the Hunchback and the Atlas. Always preferred close range mediums and heavies. And I do love that AC20.

Was hoping for the Dragon, but this'll work nicely

For some reason I expected to come into this thread thinking I will NOT name my first child Paul. Beta or no. I see we're talking mechs though so we can redact that

Depends if the PPC model is an option really, that should play pretty different. Also have to keep in mind how indirect fire works here. You go scout for me, I shoot over the buildings an stay off the radar. Just have to be good with dealing with scouts...possibly Steiner Scouts too.

I think I would go with the Catapult. Maybe the hunchback. I like the middle ground. Like slugging things real hard too though Atlas isn't my favorite...maybe if there were more Zeus.

I've always liked high tonnage medium mechs. Most people tend to focus on heavys and assaults as the primary threat but something like the Hunchback is fast enough to get behind you, then tear your "rear" off. Doesnt take to many ac 20 rounds to the back before you go boom.
