Don't fret, just because you don't have a boss pc doesn't mean you're instantly disqualified. On the contrary, PGI is going to pick member's who's pc specs run the gamut from slow to ultra fast. After all, closed beta is about stress testing and fleshing out bugs/exploits in the code, not just playing because you've been waiting a long time.

If your PC is bad, then you'll probably get invited, so they can see how well it will run on lower end PCs.

I would bet they want low end systems much more than high end systems.

Me either! Walked into a table-top game, I admit a few minutes late (was picking up snakage) and was told to make a saving throw.....I failed it and my character was placed upon the GM altar of sacrifice. Dead instantly....had to re-roll!!

And I've done some beta testing before, they'll want some low end specs to test the game.
