I know this may be to good to be true but the way in which the operation inception article is phrased sounds like a july release date, at least for people who pay for the founders package.

" 'OPERATION INCEPTION' assets and early game access will be avaliable for ELITE and VETERAN Founder's Package players starting July 17th"

This seems as if (similar to what SW:TOR did) that if you pay for the game earlier you get to start playing before the offical release date and calling it early game access suggests it is the full game not the closed beta.

Plus: Why would they give us in-game currency that we pay real money for to spend in the beta and then have it erased when the real game starts. (I know that it is an assumption to assume that all beta progress will be erased when the beta ends, but it seems like a logical enough assumption).

The july date is the date when the pre-orderers get their spot in closed beta. It's not release date, or even open beta date. Actual closed beta seems to start earlier too, but just with the hand picked players.

Closed Beta starts basically right now and we will be inviting in thousands of users starting anytime now.

June 19th Founders goes on sale. Closed beta continues to grow in the mean time.

July 17th Founders program launches and those that purchased the program get guaranteed access to the Beta."



It is unknown at this time if the money you receive purchasing the Founders package will be available during the closed beta period. If it is, it is assumed those assets purchased will be yours for good and not be wiped once the game goes into Open Beta.

It may be that the 'final reset' to a clean state happens on the 17th July and anything which happens after that sticks.
