You're stupid for saying this is a lack of professionalism, problems can and will occur. On top of that, they don't have to do squat when it comes to closed beta as they're still developing the game. Players are meant to play the final product, not the unfinished. The only reason they are letting players in is to figure out the lowest settings can go and to let players find things they possibly missed or have no found yet.

No, he isn't "stupid" for saying what he said. It isn't professional. It takes 30 seconds, if that, to make a forum post informing us what's going on with the invites.
That said, we aren't entitled to that information. That doesn't make his point any less valid.

Incorrect, beta invites could have gone out today." For greater clarity closed beta starts today! we will be inviting users as soon as tomorrow." I don't see anywhere in that quote that says in stone, ' all beta invites will be done tomorrow '. The dev;s at PGI are people too, and not everything goes to plan all the time.

Beta testing is beta testing. Things go wrong or unplanned occurances happen. It is part of the experience and part of the process. Might not happen today, might have to be pushed back a month.

Again, they don't have to inform you of anything. They could have stayed completely silent until the game was finished and released in their eyes.
There's no lack of professional anything in this whole situation. It's called you didn't get what you want, so you try to blame someone.

If the Beta invites went out, how would we even know about it? Anyone who was stupid enough to say, "I GOT INTO BETA!" on the forums would be deleted by admins, and possibly have their beta taken away.
I imagine only a few thousand invites will go out the first time. NOT EVERYONE WILL GET IN AT ONCE.
Many have waited a decade. We can wait another day for an official comment from Piranha.

It's hard because everyone's hopes were raised so high yesterday. But we all just need to calm down and accept that we probably won't be playing beta until we pay for it in July.
