I've logged my Beta stuff, what if we have more than one computer we may play on, should we copy and paste multiple system specs or just use the most up to date machine we have? (Which is what I did)

This is a good question... Assuming I am able to get in, I was fully intending on trying to make some drops over my lunch break, and the comps here at work are somewhat different than my rig at home.

I would reckon lower end specs are important too, to test how well the game works on those systems.

I think the whole reason they want you to post the stats of your computer is for a good pool to test the program on. Low and high end, different video/audio, processors, memory and whatnot. Hopefully you can put both on there and be allowed to use them but who knows. Maybe they would like people to run it on one computer to get persistent data. That way they can track bugs down to hardware or software issues.

I think the real question should be: How many people have thought about lying or did lie about their system specs to make their beta application look better? What would you do for mechwarrior? Anything of coarse. Just some random thought. LOL

I would suspect that these individuals will run in to some issues during the course of beta, file support tickets and their hardware won't match what the beta profile says. POOF bye bye beta key.
Lying is a no no because Comstar will always know know.

Especially when your rig doesn't hold up to the weight of the program. We all want to play but there is a reason they haven't put out recommended specs yet. They don't know and they want a reliable base to work from.

i had the same question. I plan on playing both on my laptop and my desktop. I used the desktop though for the beta profile. I figure in beta, I would be using the desktop mostly anyway.
