Playing with a K2 variant in SSW, I'm wondering what other changes may have been made under the hood - there's a few tons left over after putting those weapons in the Catapult that could be going towards better armor - or a few additional heat sinks to help fire the lasers.

Interesting...

I think the Catapults won.
By the way, why don't you show us different maps? Sure, this map is beautiful, but I've seen another map in one of your screenshots (http://mwomercs.com/...warfare-part-i/) and it looks great, so why didn't you use it anywhere else?

Id also say Team Cat won out, quicker and with good support; this Atlas went down.

the torso twist will make the difference on the POV. unleash 2,3 go forward and use his allies armor and the rock formation to buy time till the third mech approaches from their flank. team atlas could still pull off the win

Let's not forget that the perspective Atlas is running fairly high on the heat scale, so the weapons it can bring to bear without shutting down may be limited.

Right before you die is the perfect time for an alpha strike. If you're going to kick the bucket anyway, might as well do it with a bang.

You guys are paying too much attention to the material involved while ignoring the personel.

It's obvious that Team Paul won over Team Garth. If Garth and Paul were on the same team, Paul TK'd Garth and then went on to win over the enemy team.

(Edit) I just checked my mail and there was no beta invite even after this. What?

The Atlas' cockpit is behind the left eye in MWO.

Imma go out on a limb and say that the catapult got squished. No reason to be that close to Mike Tyson unless you have already taken off his arms and legs

Surprisingly (?) non-informative screenshot. It's easy to snap dozens of them during one match. But with the map, mechs and everything else already seen before the only new content here is maybe the Large Laser shown fielded in the K2 custom loadout (which looks sweet LasBoat, yes, but it's not something we can't deduce from already known and shown MechLab features). Not even the visual effect of those LLs is shown, as I believe the second K2 is firing medium lasers. :( No, even the LLs already were shown on the gameplay screenshot series (which is cool :) ).

Yes, and that's because some of the dots represent the same 'mech. Take a look at the radar screen below to get a clearer picture of the situation.
