What class of mech is everyone thinking of playing?

As for me, I'm very intrigued with the idea of playing a light mech and strapping as many PPCs as I can to it.

I rofled. Thanks.

As for the thread, I'll pilot anything with legs and guns. I will probably prefer light and medium designs, for scouting, though I will probably get some good mileage out of heavy designs with XL engines. B)

Most likely iam going for the heaviest mechs (assault i think), thats because iam dont have much patience, and with a slow mech, iam not gona kill myself in the first 2 minutes of battle XD.

Since I'm House Steiner, a cataphract for scouting and an assault for everything else.

Mmmm.... I have to wait until 3063 to pilot an awesome Fafnir. It's a shame.

Most likely heavy, I like the firepower with that little bit more speed then a assault mech.

I'm a major fan of light mechs myself, primarily for scouting and spotting. Gotta suppourt those catapults after all.

I'm thinking of going light with a Raven and spotting for the lovely Arrow IV

I fully plan on playing a hunchback until the day I can roll out of the mechbay in a shiny new Thor; In fire engine red no less. In pure homage to the cartoon series.

Yes.

Well, ok, I'm a little dubious about the Cicada - it was one of my least favorite of the tabletops, but that may not mean its a poor design for the game. But I'll go for all classes.

I'll play one of the medium mechs in the 50-55 to range.

Depending on the 'mechs available, either Medium or Heavy. I've just never gotten the hang of playing recon [especially with ammo-using 'mechs] and I don't like playing Assaults much. Two hexes per turn is might slow for me :)

Im looking forward to medium and light mechs. I'd want to play the hunter killer mech, fast and heavily armed. Right now id say Centurion or maybe Jenner. But im also the sort of person that likes to collect and try everything.

I guess it depends on what my friends decide to do. I know one guy will def. go assault...and the other probably long-range speedy type. So I feel I'll be stuck in Medium...

But so far I'd be fine with everything but light - I'd feel like too much of a scout/spectator. I'm really interested in seeing how each weight class performs relative to each other, so I'll probably end up trying everything out, too.

King Crab.

"But King Crab isn't in the game."

Of course it is. You're just too afraid to get anywhere near a warzone with a King Crab deployed in it.
