As for a secondary role mech class, I am currently unsure. Perhaps a heavy mech? I'd have to look at the designs, I just may pick based on what looks more cool, haha.
Light, Medium, Heavy, or Assault? What are you going to play?

Once the Timber Wolf/Madcat makes its way into IS in 3050, you probably won't find me in anything else.

If I could work out how to weld PPC's to my feet, I'd do it.

Lights are cool, but I'd be concerned about survivability. I'd like to see them in action before I ride out in one
Assaults are sexy, but I'd be too worried about getting outmaneuvered, although I could probably handle a pounding long enough to bring an arm to bear

My favorite mech being the Awesome (80 tons). It's an assault mech that's not quite an assault mech. Truly powerful but also fast enough to keep up with most heavies.

I have one I like in each category so far (based on looks anyway)
One mech I KNOW I am going to eventually get is an Atlas and a Catapult.
