Just to throw this out there, it's not a best solution for performance but it helps save a lot of money:
Might look into an APU solution. This way you can get a working rig without having to buy a GPU seperately. APU = CPU and GPU all in one package, it's and AMD FM2 socket. Most expensive one, the A10 5800K, is 130 USD and I've been testing it out personally. Playing MWO, depending on a patch by patch basis (
) I'm over 22 FPS average, and occasionally dip to 14 FPS minimum. This is at 1650x1050 res with all non lighting and shadow settings at high.
The performance of it on the graphics side is about the same, maybe a little better, than the 5000 you're looking at now. So as a starter solution, you get an APU, motherboard, and RAM (if you do this get DDR3 1866, it's critical to a healthy APU rig). My bundle for this got a performance motherboard and performance RAM so my 300 USD was little higher than it could have been - I could have saved more if I got something less juicy.

Anyways, like I said, just two cents. It's not going to be a miracle worker playing games but so far I've found it to be solid. Can always upgrade the GPU later to a discrete card and shut off the graphics core of the APU for even better performance - hence why I suggest this idea as a " dirt cheap / get you started" solution.
