Thank you for the update.

As i read the update i cant help but feel the same way i would being in a room alone with a naked (enter name of favorite hottie) who then goes on to say "you can look but u no can haz". At first unbleivably excited, followed by extreme disappointment, followed by memorizing everything i saw for later.

What about "I won't look, but I can HAZ!?" I never peek at my presents EVOR!

Hmmm, guess it wouldn't work for playing since I need to see it to play MWO, unlike the "hottie."

Great week in all, quite suspenseful there for a moment.

Hey! What about of the creation of all the factory default configurations are currently available on a time line?
I think you need to do the first thing is the configurations according of the TRO.

Awesome update. The Dragon is my fav in the heavy category so far. Love to hear more variants!

I really like the Dragon for its ability to serve in a skirmisher role like an "uberMedium" would. The ability to outfit it for quick highly damaging probing attacks and then retreat, cool down, and go around for another pass really forces the enemy to watch their backs and think twice about whatever maneuvers they intend to pursue.

Sometimes you can even lure hapless opponents to chasing your Dragon-bait into carefully crafted ambushes, IDF, or direct fire support.

I'm really excited to get my hands on one and see what nasty antics I can scheme up with it ;)

Using mechs that dictate the range of engagement is awesome, only trouble is that many people can't keep themselves from drifting in too close. I love the lighter heavies for it though, can mount bigger weaponry but still aren't so big that higher speeds are out of the question. :D

I always find myself in close range, even when I try to avoid it. It's like my 'Mech goes forward of its own will to sake its bloodthirst...

So does this mean invites went out or no?

Can we get an answer on that? Some reason it's not been stated for the masses of us that were under the belief an announcement would be made. Is this supposed to be that announcement?

Some clarification would be nice as one source is saying stayed tuned we haven't missed it yet, (Russ Bullock on Twitter) and this source here saying it's "Happening now!"

They're doing more than just one round of invites afaik, if you didn't get it this week there's a chance you might some other day, again afaik. Maybe a question worth posting on the Q&A.

Phenomenal work PGI* It's been a rare and appreciated opportunity to see this game develop from earlier versions to now. Keep up the great work.

  • Add an extra Medium Laser to the left arm: total 2x Medium Lasers
  • Remove the LRM-10, add an SRM-4 and 1 ton of ammunition.
  • Max out all armour possible.
  • Add heatsinks to the left shoulder (total heatsinks: 14)
  • Add a ton of UAC-5 ammo: 2 tons total.
I would take this and do the following:
  • Drop the SRM4 and Ammo (3 tons)
  • Drop the torso ML (1 ton)
  • Drop 2 heatsinks from the left shoulder (2 tons)
  • Upgrade the AC5 to an AC20 (8 tons + 6 tons = 14 tons)
Now I've got a hunchback that runs at 85kph, has more armor, and has all of its weapons in the arms for fast tracking.

Nothing is really supposed to happen yet. If you checked the box and put in your PC specs then you are good to go. Also, a more appropriate thread: http://mwomercs.com/...d-beta-threads/
