I'm thinking of buying a new rig from Ibuypower, has anyone used them? I don't want to build it myself and I havn't heard good things about cyberpower. I want to spend about $1500 US ncluding 24" flat and the OS. If anyone cared to build one on Ibuypower and link it or pm me I would love to see it. I know we have lots of people here that know what there doing.

ibuypower and cyberpower actually get the same complaints in my experience, although the vast majority of builds from them are good. The main thing to do is make sure to buy the advanced wiring option and get a decent PSU. Cyberpower however tends to give better deals overall.

I used ibuypower once, they are okay. The computer arrived with half the cables inside not connected properly, you can imagine how my heart sank the first time i tried to power it up :P However it was easy enough to fix and they are overall satisfactory. One thing to consider; it took almost 20 days to get my comp after ordering it.

CyberPower are pretty good. They are near my place in California. If you live near them Use their Pick Up Option if not Shipping is always scary. I tend to build computers by myself but if not they do a decent job(Since sometimes they have stuff before Frys and If I can't PIck UP from Newegg they are my option). Just Angry Taiwanese Guy in the Back with the tats and Less Angry Taiwanese guy who takes the orders. They're pretty Cool tho. They know what they are doing and their Warranty is pretty good. Even got me covered in Japan(Maybe cause I send Business their way). So far most of the people I deal with tend to dislike Ibuypower cause they skim to make some extra profit but watever. IF you're not going to build it yourself go Cyberpower.

Also IF you want to get your Video card seprately You can put under Comments to say "Providing my own Card" or you can call them after u make ur purchase. GO GIgabyte or MSi TwinFrozer III or II depending on your budget

I actually recommend Asus, HIS, and sapphire over msi and gigabyte... but that's personal preference. HIS has the fastest Radeon HD 7xxx series GPUs, and sapphire is giving overall good values. And Asus is always good.
