I was curious to why on the beta profile, you have us select previous Mechwarrior, Mech Commander, and Mech Assault games we have played. But MPBT: EGA, Solaris, and 3025 beta were not on the list? I feel like MPBT is closest of all these games to what you are trying to do, it hurt my feelings

Yeah, I was part of the 3025 beta but it wasnt on this list... and MWLL was...

Well you know that every player that played MPBT: Solaris and that knows about this project is here now. I was surprised that one wasn't on the list.

I was a professional beta jock for a few years back in Art School. They are the unsung heros of the Dev cycle.

Low Pay, hard hours, and doing the same **** over and over trying to break the game. Its the reason why I do it as a hobby.

MPBT was an EA thing and which what I see they are staying away the EA things.

MPBT Was a Kesmai thing.... EA Bought them out because they were killing their online games with gamestorm.

Yeah what Rot said, MPBT had little to do with EA.

another surprising omission from the experience list is Virtual World Battletech (tesla or firestorm builds)

I forgot about Sierra's Mechwarrior 3025 beta. I enjoyed the beta and it was ahead of its time. It was very close to completion when it got pulled. What a shame.

Yeah I too was really surprised there was no mention of the original MPBT from GEnie or the later MPBT Solaris. Kind of surprised especially since this game really seems to resemble the original MPBT put out by Kesmai. I played both the original on GEnie and Solaris when it ran on AOL and Gamestorm. Man those were the days.
