PUG Players,
  • why you always run the same way?
  • why you never try to sniper?
  • why you tell others "don't tell me what to do"?
  • why you never try to team up?
  • why you always try to hunt a singe mech?
  • why you can't just wait a bit? (a match is about 15 minutes)
.... and so on ...

Bcs the Maps are small and some ways give a bigger success chance (Hint - most Mechs have the "Shield-Arm" on their left side).
Bcs the Maps offer plenty of cover.
Bcs the Lone Wolf is a Lone Wolf.
Bcs i play infrequently short or long stints, play around with my Mech and make some quick field tests and have already friends i enjoy to talk with that sadly feel that MWO is going wrong.
Bcs i can have at least 1 kill till the Premade has wiped floor with the poor souls that tried to withstand.
Bcs when i see we will lose anyway i want it have quick and clean.

:D

Oh good another of these threads where someone tries to divide the community by insulting part of it with false statements.

Instead of being a passive-aggresive little **** why don't you collect names and message those players directly? What possible result did you expect to occur from this generalization?

I pug, and none of that applies to me. Or most the pugs I drop with on any given day.

Why you premades always boat LRMs, 6PPC stalkers and ECM?

Which they don't. I run into that like once every 20 games or so.

Quit trying to agitate. Seriously, this sort of stuff is what creates problems between players and bad feelings.

Because it annoys people.

Seriously. Yelling at me for not sticking together (in my scout mech by the way, that would be no good in the pack) or pushing when half of the other team is actually hunting our lights at their own base is the best way to guarantee that I will NOT follow your orders since you just proved that you're stuck in your way of playing the game and shouldn't be pugging since you aren't able to adapt to what the random bunsh of people around you is doing.

Also all the described behaviour in the OP has nothing to with being a PUG. It's got to do with not knowing the game and being new. Or being bad at the game. You can't just generalize it to be a PUG problem. The reason it appears as such is that the only way of whitnessing that stuff in your own team is if you're not rolling with a premade but actually pugging.

I Pug exclusively and I can tell you there's a bunsh of very skilled puggers out there.

Oh good, another statement from one who never read, learn or even think about, what an other might be thinking. :D

So, Taron:
  • Why do you ask these questions?
  • Do you really think this applies to all PuG players?
  • Do you really think you're a better player than them, even though they chose the hard-core way of playing?
  • Do you still feel entitled?

Because we're new players and there is no training arena on this game.

That answers all of your questions.

It's really funny. In germany we have a saying about your comments: "Betroffene Hunde bellen gerne".

*********, made me laugh with that one. Still, pretty solid comparison between two online games, summed up perfectly.

I do all of these things while pugging and have had many great PUG-games. The difference is that I'm not making a general statement out of my personal opinion.
