Played it once today, team got base capped with one of my teamates just standing near base but not on it

The match I don't pick my light and go in an assault of course.

I gave up trying for now. I played 5 matches with 2 other Ghost Bears on my team, just to try out the new toys...and got matched up against confirmed 8-man teams 3 out of 5 times. Going to give this one a day or two before I come back.

I have heard amazing things about this map, though...looking forward to seeing it at some point.

started the match put my CTF to 70kph... felt like a 40-45KPH Atlas.

Long range weaponry is a must on that map, especially for the slower mechs.

my Er PPC +Gauss +ER LLaser performs quite well at snipping there, also as the text says you can climb a lot of Hills that may seem impossible.

Got it three times. My first impression aren't that great. The map is indeed huge, as promised. The battle however seems to focus near a ridge at about middle of the map, with both teams being on the sides of the ridge and taking pot shots at those who show their face and showering lrms to those you can get a lock on. Have to play more to get a better idea, but early impressions is that it's not that great of a map. Too much walking, and the long range action is not as good as it sounds.

Beautiful map...but a game wrecker (and I'm not given to drama). No assault brawlers should ever drop into the game since you can never know where you're going to drop, and you can't risk ending up here. You'll only end up as target practice. Conversely, long range weapons are of incredible value here, but are still useful on other maps.

If this is the devs idea of encouraging build diversity, they've made an error in judgement. Now its just going to be all snipers and maybe a few scouts. That sounds much less diverse, not more. it also sounds like how MWLL devolved on some maps into WW1 style trench warfare. If playing whack-a-mole sounds like more fun to you than brawling, then brother we really don't see eye to eye.

Twice and it is pretty. Dust of the ER Llas. It has a use now. Looong ranges are possible. Leading with PPC is awesome. Or Awesome.

** Change wt class got me in. Medium got me in twice. Other drops were all Phracts and lights.

All you need to do is Google snowy mountains, there's your map.

No artistic vision, just another earth-like map. No giant ringed planet on the horizon, no dropships hovering above the map, nothing to really show that you are on another planet.

Huge map, lots of distance.. the problem is that several times I can't literally see enemy mechs in the distance.. they are there (I can shoot them) but can't see them, guess I'll have to raise environment setting to high..

I just want to say i hate not being able to pick my map it just doesn't make sense why i have to drop maps i hate you know i tried to check out the new map last night. Played 2 hours never dropped it once thanks for the new map but i haven't run it yet because unlike the other 6000 games out i cannot pick the map i wanna drop just plain stupid......

I get this map so often, it's stupid. But I've yet to play on normal forest this patch.
