I am thinking after reading so many pages on this post that the original question was something like what mech would you LIKE to start in.

If that is the question - I would like a WolfHound (there MUST be a bug in the Beta that needs reporting if this mech is not already in there!!)

IF we have to choose from the 4 (like the founders mechs) I would say Hunchback

If we can choose from what is (known) to be avail - Raven (most likely).

Oh and to the OP (and all others that did like wise) thanx for the links - useful info in there.

Probably never going to see that one or all the LAMs for that matter. Those are Unseen and will most likely stay that way due to them being a direct rip of the Veritech fighters in Macross. Still, it would be kind of cool to see them rendered in game. Sadly it shall never be.

What about the Cataphract? Not that I like it, but it was a new design in the 3030s and therefore should be listed. It's documented in some sourcebook I do not recall atm, but its popping up prior to 3050.

Shame chances for my good mate WHM-6R are so bad - maybe after almost 30 years the legal trouble can finally be settled down? Somehow the game is missing something with "the" 3025 standard frontline-Mechs not being there...

You read my mind... I guess the million c-bill question is will we be seeing the unseen or even the reseen variants? Also will 2750 level/year mechs be available. Or strictly the 3050 for the moment?

More specifically, a FLE-20. The itty bitty Flea with 2 ER Medium Lasers, a Light PPC, Stealth armor and a Guardian ECM Suite. Thank you very much for my little ball of fun. Now that's what I call a Scout Mech.

I know everything will be IS to begin with, so probably looking at the Catapult / Atlas to start with.

Once the Clans and IS Omnis are added I'll be glad to pilot a Shadow Cat, Timber Wolf (of course), or perhaps even check out a shiny new Jade Hawk.

There's a soft spot for the old Stone Rhino and the giant collision boxes around its cannon arms but I doubt it would see much play except for trolling unless it was one of the upgraded models haha.

Lots of favorites in mind, including several that haven't been playable in videogames before. Currently eyeing my model box and the shinies within.

That was never the original thread title, my thread got merged with another one a while back, hence the smashed together title.
