Sarna wiki states that the Nightstar was in production by both halfs of the commonwealth.. how come its listed as comstar only?

The factory was destroyed 2786 and production püicking up again roughly 250 years later according to sarna..

Wich would mean the earliest Nighstars where seen on battlefields again around 3036-37

I don't really trust Sarna, but I'll check my TRO's when I get home.

I'm back, manufacturing didn't resume till 3057, so it stays on the Comstar list since they'll probably still have some old Nightstar NSR-9J models in storage.

i always had a hard spot for the 4 med laser 1 lrm 20 80kph charger

always reminded me of that fat kid who ran faster than everyone else, probbally from chasing the icecream truck

It might still happen, they had a redesigned Warhammer in the old Mechwarrior 3015 trailer, so who knows.

The Shadow Cat is from 3003.

And its a Rifleman II.
The Royal Divisions got the best of the best back in those days (better even than the rest of the SLDF).
Gray Noton's 'Mech "Legend-Killer" is rumoured to be a Rifleman II. Later used by Justin Xiang Allard.

The shadowcat was first produced in 3003 but the IS didnt come in contact with it until a year or two in the future so when the clans appear we might get lucky and see a few around

I didn't see the Cougar on that list. That was my favorite mec... so fast and fly so high (jumps) tiny guns but the SPEED! lord... I would start in a Cougar if there was one...

Mad Cat is the IS name for the Timber Wolf isn't it?

I personally would be SO happy about the Marauder or better yet the Marauder II.

It's being produced on the Clan homeworlds, but it won't be seen in the IS till later.
