OK been trying my hand at some mane sculpting,
i get the idea of doing brushables but i'm to much of a man to mess about with hair "BRRRuuPPP".
but I've always had i bit of a arty chap inside of me, so I thought i'd grab some aproxy putty/clay and give it ago.

Before. not my pic nicked it for convenience, seeing i didn't get one before removing the hair lol.



how she is looking now cameras a bit shoddy so a bit blurry sorry about that.

her head still twists to the right but not so much to the left lol.
I'm not completely done with the mane yet, going to add a very thin layer
of extra clay to smooth things off and OFC paint it



thoughts?

one pro tip i can give for anyone thinking of doing this, practice on your pony with play-doh before using the aproxy clay/putty.

I wasn't happy enough with my first sculpt of dashies mane so I've redone it.
i feel it looks better than the first for the simple fact that it isn't over worked.

also pics in focus this time.


no back mane done yet waiting for the top area to dry first this time around.
