There was a World of Tanks clan called My Little Pony.....They got disbanded by wargaming.net for being a giant collection of douchebags, flamers, griefers, and all around asshats. Both offshoot clans have really bad reps as well.

Puh-lease. If you're going to try to pull that, at least know the story.

First, the clan was disbanded because of internal power struggles. Simple as that. People who wanted power/had power disbanded it, nabbed gold, and everyone else went "what?" Granted from what I've heard there were serious problems before this internally. And they were jerks for the most part.

Second, the clan was more of a name pun (it was called "My Little Pwny") than an actual pony-fan clan. Very few of the members gave a crap about ponies. It was mainly a clan for competing in clan wars.

Third, I'm currently in the best pony clan on WoT and we're going for a league division win, so your argument is invalid.

Ehhhhhhh, I personally have nothing against bronys, pony etc, in fact there fan dome has produced some pretty funny and entertaining stuff. But usually when ponys are involved with something it turns into something, there's a giant flame war from both bronys and haters and I really would like if every one could just play the *** **** game. I just hope they can exist without it taking over the game like its happened to so many other things.

Having paged through this thread... I must say I find it glorious.

Also, It gave me an idea: I think I'll stick an LBx AC-10 (w/ cluster rounds) onto whichever 'mech I pilot and call it my "Party Cannon", in honor of Pinkie. Someone must have come up with this already, but I'm doing it anyway.

I'd also paint the 'mech pink but I don't want to be mistaken for Paul.

Opinion is one thing, but what you stated was more of an attempt to state a fact (whether intended or not) of "the bronies were so bad the game developers had to step in and disband their group." There's a huge difference in "people with a pony clan name being jerks but well with-in the rules of the game" and "people who genuinely like ponies being so bad they needed an intervention to stop them." Just had to set the record straight.

Over 2500 posts in one topic, in one sub-forum. Not a peep elsewhere. Pretty sure this is the tamest (and funniest) pony thread on the Internet.

Anyways, I've been driving all day and should probably be in bed. But,,,



EDIT: Okay, I realized that my reply didn't fully address the concern at hand. (Remember the part where I'm tired as heck?) I don't think the bronies will be the problem they've been in other games. I am sure that out of the thousands of other people who will flock to this game (at least to just try it out), there will be some bad apples of both the brony and non-brony variety. We'll just have to deal with them and remember that they don't represent the main of any group.

Cos bronies have their own thread here, we're all reasonably responsible adults who just happen to enjoy watching a kid's cartoon show (I watch loads of kid's shows, having kids is a wonderful excuse to do so lol) who aren't interested in trolling or 'hilariously sticking unwanted pony pics in other threads'.

I'm sure as more people arrive now the game gets closer to launch we will see more a**hats, but I'm sure we can ignore the trolls and I have great faith in our community mods (who come from the playerbase don't forget) to deal with persistent offenders appropriately.

at least our douchebags have enough class to still be bronies!

But I haven't seen very much anti-brony flaming anywhere. It's either shut down really quickly or its an obvious joke.
No exception here. We're all dandy.
