I disagree. The potion created a love where none existed. What Cadence does is amplify and bring to the forefront what love is already there; she reminds people what's important when they get too caught up in the little details that are not (like getting or not getting a hoof-acure).

I've had personal life experiences that leave me with a very bitter taste in my mouth at the thought of someone being able to override free will for the sake of re-kindling a love that has clearly begun to fade, i carry a scar over my heart, both emotional and physical, that serves as a constant reminder that some times it's best just to end it and move on.
