I thought of something last night and figured why not post my idea, I am sure others would like this too:

Hand and arm animations when you shut down due to heat, fist pump when you get a kill, become critical, start capping. Much like the animation in a Atlas when you are starting up from overheating. I think it would give you the feeling that you are a mechwarrior piloting a mech.

Just thought I would toss it out there.

Well, I notice that when you override a shutdown...at least in the few mechs that I own and actively play, you typically push a big button somewhere in the middle of your mech's console there.

But yeah, I'm all for quirky little animations like this...but it might break some peoples' immersion. I personally wouldn't go fist bumping after every kill, but when I lock onto an enemy, maybe have my guy reaching for a switch, waiting for me to click fire, you know?

We do have our pilots moving the throttle slider on the left and the joystick on the right, though, as we move around and junk.
