As the title suggests, I am looking for a clan to join that can teach me the game mechanics on a much more detailed scale than the videos that are posted on the website.
Such things as what weapons to use on which mechs, how much armor to put in one certain spot, how to balance the use of lasers and other weapons so I dont overheat as much.
Stuff like that, but mostly, im wanting to have a fun environment, as well as a relaxed one, meaning, one that doesnt need me to be online constantly just to keep up with the group.
I take care of my mother who is handicapped with Cerebral Palsy (Google it) and I tend to go on extended breaks to help her out.
I also do play other games from time to time, which also take up a lot of my time as well, not to mention classes starting up for me in January.
Anyway, enough about that, are there any people out there willing to give me a place to go?

Upgrading Founders packs
18 July 2012 - 12:36 PM
When you buy a founders, and you want to upgrade, I know all you have to do is go onto the buy page and pay the difference.
My question is this; When the founders are not on sale anymore, can you still upgrade?

So, for those who remember...

I was asking about what it would take to upgrade my comp, and thanks to Dober and a few other people I cant remember the name of, I think I have everything all set up for MWO (Might be buying a new case to put everything in though)
My system Specs now are as follows (Not a detailed list, just the basics.)
Processor: AMD A6-3620 APU
RAM: 10 Gb
Video Card: AMD Radeon HD 7770
OS: Windows 7
Direct X 11
I think im pretty much set, might buy a new motherboard later on so I can add a bit more over time.
But for now (And at least 6-7 more months) this is what ive got.
Thanks again to Dober and everyone else who helped me get to this point, I couldnt have done it without you guys.
*edit*
I also had to buy a new PSU, and this is the one I got http://www.newegg.co...N82E16817182032
Probably overkill, but it will do nicely for future upgrades.

Apologies to the developers of this great game...

I have been waiting for this game for quite a long time now, almost three years since I heard about a sort of "Mechwarrior 5" coming out.
I remember reading an article about some legal troubles with the "Warhammer" mech, and how it looked too much like something else from another game.
I played most of the mechwarrior games in the past (Although the names elude me sadly...) as much as I could on my dads only gateway that only ran on Windows 93.
I was hoping that I would be able to get the legendary founders pack, or even at least the Elite, but I have found that since I had to get some upgraded hardware, as well as medical bills for my mother (She has Cerebral Palsy for those curious), I am unable to get anything in the way of founders packs.
I dont exactly know why I am making this thread, all I do know, is that I now feel horrible for not being able to buy any of the founders packs to support this amazing game. One legendary amounts to little more than a drop in the bucket compared to what you guys must have made when you first started selling them, but all the same, I still wanted to help you guys out and give you the money for a legendary.
I wish I could get the founders pack, but I am unable to, so heres to you PGI, I raise my beer to you guys in hopes that you have amazing luck on this game and keep it going for many many years.
Cheers!
Krogoth.

Since people seem to be unhappy with the way the forum tags are like (Some people anyway)
I figured I would go into a photoshop clone (gimp) and try to change things up a bit.
These are what I came up with
