Intentional Afk/suiciding

I've seen this more and more lately, people either AFK or suiciding via heat with trial mechs to grind moneys.

Obviously this is a very slow way to do it, but I'm curious how PGI feels about this. Their performance based scoring seems to help combat this quite a bit, however it makes it hard to have good matches when one or two people on your team are non-players, automatically putting you at a disadvantage.

So, PGI, how do you feel about it?

I heard there was an issue with BattleMechs randomly disappearing from your 'Mech bay. I want to buy a couple new 'Mechs but I'm concerned about this...
