The 1C was the first Dragon I fully unlocked. Until I bought the flame it was also the "go to" mech for me. I generally like 2 LL and 1 gauss. More than a few times I've broken 1k damage and or 5 kills in it, while I really do love my dual gauss Marmoset there are very few things that a well piloted dragon can't handle.

Not to try and burn canon but I would have loved to have seen the Awesome get ecm instead of the Atlas. After playing all of the assaults extensively I'm now of the opinion that if you are in an assault its a ddc. Picking any of the others is just nerfing your team as you will invariably be matched with a ddc.

I'm starting to think that double heatsinks are working fine, and that its certain weapon systems that need to be tweaked. I have no problems running DHS on most of my builds. Its every time I really want to use ppc's that they become useless. Building a ppc awesome is frustrating and the stalker about makes you want to just sell it so you can't bang your head off the keyboard anymore.

2 ER LL, 1 gauss. 3 tons of ammo. DHS, endo, 295 XL engine. I've pulled 900 damage several times in this and rarely have problems with gausspults.

Commando is by far my favorite although I think the Panther or Wolfhound are generally better.
