What Is Wrong With My Bum Pgi?

12 May 2013 - 10:42 AM

Well today I opened my launcher and started patching, when close before the end PGI decided that my bum is not wort to play this game!

I am very offended right now about this discrimination of my bum! All the other bums seem to be okay, but mine apparently was not to their liking and was modified by PGI without my consent and approvement! I demand an answer to this PGI!

Which Assault Mech will it be on July 1st?

26 July 2012 - 08:27 AM

So on August 1st a new Assault Mech will be introduced. Which do you think will it be?
I am curious to see which one you think it will be. Pick 3 Mechs you think could make it.

My 3 guesses are :

1.Banshee
2.Annihilator
3.Devastator

Ok for the Devastator i rather hope it then really believe it :D

Skins and Decals

24 July 2012 - 04:23 AM

I have seen many nice Skins and Decals/Insignas here in the Fan Art Forum and in my Merc Units forum so I thought it would be nice to see them Ingame.

So I created this Thread in the Suggestions Forum: http://mwomercs.com/...ins-and-decals/

Look in the Thread and show your support so that one day we cann see all the awesome fan art ingame!

Give Merc Groups and Players the ability to add their own Skins and Decals!

23 July 2012 - 07:27 AM

My suggestion is to give Merc Units and individual Players the possibility to upload their own Skins and Decals for In-game currency that is bought with real cash. In Battletech every Mech looked uniqe and every Mercenary Unit had their own paint sheme, so adding the possibility adds alot to the atmosphere and to the roleplaying factor. Also being able to name your Mech Pilot would be awesome.

Of course the skins have to be checked by moderators thirst for inapropiate or other content that is not allowed. The system for Players is simple. You upload the skin/decal , a mod checkes it, gives the OK and then you pay with in-game currency. After you pay the skin/decal is available in the Mechlab and ready for use.

However with Merc Units I see 2 possible ways to handle it:

1.)Every Merc Unit should have their own fund where the Players in the Merc Unit can donate their In-Game Currency. The Leader of the Merc Unit can then upload a Skin and pay with the Units ing-game currency. The Skin then is available to every Merc Unit Player and can be used by them without paying additional money. In-game currency can only flow into the Unit and not out, so that the Leader cannot take the money for himself. Of course the price for uploading a Merc Unit Skin should be alot higher then the price for a skin which a Player buys for his personal use. This gives Players of merc groups to have a common skin that marks them as a unit without letting out the Players that dont have the financial possibilities to add their own skins.

2.)Every Player has to upload the Skin themselves with the normal system. This has a few flaws: The mods have to check more and the players without financial possibilities cant use the skin.

Please discuss and vote and show the devs that you want this!

I apologize for the bad english and mistakes!

Community Q&A Thread

11 June 2012 - 09:12 PM

When i discovered MW:O yesterday and immediately registered for it, I soon had some questions. The newcomers Thread was leading me to Tons of information. I am sure most people new to the game will think: "I am interested in this game but why bother reading tons of material I am not an hardcore Fan".
So I made a Thread and posted some questions and the very nice and helpful community helped me.

So i thought why not make a Thread where Newbies and even Veterans can ask simple questions about how Mechs, MW, MW:O works.

Then people who now the answer and are bored of waiting for their beta keys can answer them.

The rules for this to work:

Newbies read through the thread, the question may have been asked already.

The answering people should please not awnser if the question has been awnsered already. Also give a brief and short and easily understandable answer but with enough details and information so that the question is anwsered completely.

Every Answer should have the Question in it first.

This is for the sake of keeping it short so that people dont have to read 100 forum pages :D.

I dont know what you think about this Idea but i think its worth trying so I will start by a question myself:
How do the controls in MW work in general( What can you use a Joystick, Keyboard, Mouse, Throttle for?

Happy posting.

Advice on how to do this better is welcome, just send me a private message dont post it here :)

Edit: Havent said it but this post is for everything that has something to do with MW. Feel free to ask even the most simple questions.
