About Me
I'm a computer scientist interested in game development. Seeing how games behave and are modified in beta is always a neat experience because it helps mature the title before its launch but still allows gamers to engage with it. I play pretty much anything that doesn't have a monthly fee (sorry Eve) because I think that's wack. I find the free to play model very interesting and recently seeing how different developers/publishers implement has a huge effect on the games initial impact and staying power well after release. Some f2p titles such as Tribes, WoT, and Blacklight have been huge leaders in displaying the effectiveness of this gaming model and have ended up keeping their titles alive longer than most AAA games.
Other interests include primarily open source development and anything that can be hacked or modified.
