I also don't think that it'll work with a 36v36 match in a large map, cause with the current range of the the weapons in the games, say, LRM has the farthest range but it still only 1000m. Even in Alpine Peak, most of the targets are way out of range so most of the time, the players are either camp at base or, well, scattering around like roaches. Anyway, my points is that because of the range limit of the weapons in the game, big battles in big maps won't really enjoyable at all imo.
The problem lied within the connection problem, not entirely the ECM( even though as it is now, most missiles base mechs can only be grounded, especially streak cat) cause the the only option that work against ECM equipped light mechs are lasers brawling mechs. However, with the lag shield and fps rate dropping issues, it just generally become unbearable for a lot of players. Just hope the dev know how to fix those problems or at least address them to the community so that we know they're looking into it. Also, the problem of 1 sided matches has been a long problem for PUG players and it just got worse with ECM. But hey, who said that this is an easy game for non-cooperative players. Also, i'm a PUG player myself and i got fair share of win matches with people who know at least how to stick together lol.
