Bit of a long shot, but are you sure the VGA cable is hooked to the GPU instead of onboard GPU? Also check in BIOS that you have PCIe enabled as first GPU, not PEG.

The 780GTX looks interesting. Will wait for reviews and see how it fares against the 7970HD GE I have, then decide if the invested money is worth the performance increase.

This thread is nice. Enjoyed reading the flame free discussion done in an adult manner. You guys have nailed the points people can think on when choosing their rigs for gaming or whatever. Currently in the AMD camp, just for the fun of it and can not complain. Does what I want and need. Intel + nVidia? Can be as have used them as well, you never know.
