  never played table top battletech but ive read every battletech book i could get my hands on patriots stand is by far my fave, just wish i remember where i put it... i first got a taste of mechwarrior on the old dos mech 2 clan wolf all the way. didnt play much of mech 3 and have repeatedly beat mech 4 all versions again and again.. i enjoyed mechcommander but it doesnt work on my os anymore ~insert tears here~ ill use assaults and heavies but prefer the speed and maneuverability of mediums plus knock out some engines and can put a few more tons of firepower or armor on the mech works fine for me
