I started my Mechwarrior career when my brother introduced me to the game in 1996 after I return from my first tour in South Korea. Used the program KALI to play netmech DOS version over the internet. Once I got on Kali I ran into a guy named Reliant and he asked if I wanted to join FWL. We would use the Mechwarrior Registry http://www.mechreg.org/about.htm to control our universe. We had no voice comms so we would type the first letter of the target in chat to cordinate our attack with our wingman. I played with this group of fine Mechwarriors under the leardership of CG Bogey untill 1999 when I returned to Korea for a second tour. I had tp play MW3 single player because I had no Internet connection for that year. When MW4 arrived on the seen. I did get back with Kali group under CG Evul B and then CG Marty while I was stationed on Guam. We also used teamspeak for voice communications now and we were dropping with more mechs as well. Once again I got disconnected from the group when I retired from the USAF. Now Mechwarrior online has provide the opportunity to reconnect with friends of the past while meeting new ones.
