i wrote the follwing down as reply in another thread, but i think its better if i repost it here.
weapon convergence must return being a factor, heat must have consequences (disturbances of the HUD at high heat levels, slower torso movement) , pilots should become a factor themselves (taking damage from constant high heat values,becoming K.O.,"cooldown" of 20seconds), pinpoint accuracy of multiple weapons in the same location MUST be changed, recoil of high damage weapons as ac20, gauss and so on ( iknow i know "gauss dont have recoil"...screw it, tell me one thing realisticabout MW^^) should throw your aim off slightly, as well as being hit by such ... jumping should widen your reticule, maybe skillable in a specific pilot skilltree such as the mentioned "support" tree from "rolewarfare"
right now the game feels like a bunnyhopping arcadeshooter or a run´n´gun shooter like the many f2p shooters ... but certainly not like a simulation style mech-game.

guess what? Battletech, Mechwarrior, Shadowrun, World of Darkness ( gogo CCP^^) , Shooters (very curious about Planetside 2), Round-Tactics... making music (rather then listening) reallife (interesting, but rarely appearing xD )
