Juniper here, from Terra. Now a MechWarrior in these...Succession Wars.
I didn't go to prep for the military. I went from high school straight to the academy, but strings had to be pulled to get that done - so much so that once I was in, I would lose everything if I left.
I stayed.
I pilot a custom CPLT C-1 that has more than a couple design quirks. During my tour, I've made plenty of mistakes and made a few choices I'm not very happy with, but it helps that I had little choice.
I'm an idiot sometimes, and my mind doesn't always work the way I want it to. I don't even own a cooling vest. I get panic attacks for no reason and can be pretty impatient, even though I'm too shy to socialize outside of battle more often than the occasional two cents on an issue. Good thing this started happening after the psych tests...
Don't ask me about allegiances...not yet, anyway. I don't even keep track of how many explosions I've caused. I've been in plenty myself, though.
