Pretty self explanatory. What weapon type do you have the most fun using?
Was it SRMs back when they were on top?
Do you miss LRMageddon?
Loving the state of PPC's?
Have a soft spot for flamers?
Love the Dakka?
Ive always been a huge ballistics fan. Rattling off those AC2's never gets old.

Wikipedia Does Not Know About Mwo?

Was just killing time, decided to take a look at the Battletech page on wiki, and noticied that in the "Spin-off games" section the most recent thing they mention is Living Legends and the old trailer that no publisher was interested in.
PGI, get on that!
EDIT: DERP, nevermind.......... it is there.

Give Us A Better Reason To Have Multiple Engines/equipment.

Currently, there is no good reason for us to have more than one engine other than the convenience of not having to swap it out every time. This goes for pretty much everything that goes on the mech, but engines stand out the most because of their cost.
So I had a random thought that could encourage dedicating equipment to a mech as well as helping new players with builds.
What if PGI gave each mech variant 3 builds voted on by the community that could be selected from the mechlab once the mech was purchased. Once the player had purchased the parts to build the mech, they could "cash in" said components, saving those parts to that specefic mech only. In return, they would get a flat amount of GXP. Something that feels worthwhile, 1000-5000 depending on the cost of that build.
After the equipment was dedicated to the build, you could have a button to just equip the whole loadout, so you could still experiment with builds, but go back to it with one click.
They could even do it with indivdual parts and modules (other than consumables). Buy something, dedicate that piece of equipment to the mech, and get a sum of GXP in return. Could be a % of the components c-bill cost.
Could be Mech XP instead of GXP too. A lot less appealing to the playerbase IMO, but probably more appealing to PGI because of the MC conversions.

Balanced Atlas-D

This is my preferred Atlas build.
AS7-D Balanced
Effective at all ranges, with good heat control.
Any thoughts/input?

New Players, This Weekends Trial By Fire, What To Buy!

IF you want to spend the MC...
The K2 and Atlas-D are well worth it.
K2 is an excellent sniping platform, with many flexible builds which include brawling builds.
The Atlas D is also great, with arguably the best spread of hard points in the Atlas class. My personal favorite.
Any one else care to chime in on the cicada and jenner? Im not very experienced with either of those, but considering it is not the ECM cicada, and the jenners are a little low on the totem pole for lights (unless you are crazy accurate with lasers at high speed), I would guess they are only worth it if you need variants for the skills.
