Because Missiles need more nerfs right now

I honestly don't know what you're trying to say.

I get the sarcasm... but...

Did you read the post?

Since you are a founder I am going to assume that you remember the Gaussapult from CB.

There were people on the forums everyday saying that Gauss rifles should not be able to replace MGs.

Eventually PGI added Gauss rifle explosions (along with a serious hp reduction) and that ended the complaints about Gaussapults.

However, I believe that you are never going to see a weapon size limitation beyond what we currently have.

though I do agree that it would help balance the game.

You obviously weren't around when lights would break their legs on a pebble. I feel like fall damage is still too extreme in some cases, and certainly any more would really hurt jetting lights. Straight to internals is the worst idea i've heard.

I was around when lights took damage from every little bump, and that was completely messed up.

But as I said; larger mechs taking more fall damage would help with game balance.

And straight-to-internals-damage for falling would be a good wake up for pilots who use their JJs badly.

And, currently, it still takes quite a few falls to leg yourself in a light even with your armor gone.

The larger mechs have more shock absorption capability and sturdier frames/skeletons.

When it comes down to it: Game Balance > everything else. So if increasing fall damage for larger mechs helps balance the game (which it almost certainly would) then it is a good Idea.

Also I personally believe that fall damage should go straight to internals.

Basically, what I want is fall damage to actually be something that players seriously work to avoid. Currently fall damage is so small that it isn't really a worry until your leg(s) are nearly gone.
