This is a suggestion to better show off the paints and camos you buy.

After winning a match, the camera has a 'victory view' similar to when you die, yet the camera is now rotating around your live mech. If you died it will view the mech you were just spectating. If your team loses, all you will see is the cold dead remains of the last mech on your team.

This idea is my tweak of Khanublikhan's victory view concept (topic).

I'd like to suggest 'use based' premium time, 24 hours is 24 hours of gameplay. This is the product the 2-3 hr a day players want.

Hello Mechwarrior and welcome the Zen Moment with Spence

My aim is to discuss community: the players, the devs, and beyond. In doing so I hope to uncover insights and provoke thoughts and maybe give to the community I have kept magnetizing back to.

I have been on these forums for over a year. Sometimes I have said things which I could regret, but choose not to. I have also done some things I am proud of. I have embarrassed myself and I have talked to some interesting people. My sweat has been poured into some passionate debates, discussions, arguments, and good times. All in one way or another connected to this game. I am mechwarrior, and you can too™

I feel afraid to talk about things like community, like a deer in the headlights really. But it is what interests me. I like to see how networks form and how voids are filled by those with the talent and skill to manage them. Community is my interest.
To start off with Zen Moment #1 I want to share a story.

The boy and the starfish

A boy walks along a beach, he is picking up starfish and throwing them back into the water. An elder looks on. The boy continues to throw starfish back into the sea, but then the elder stops the boy and speaks, "boy" and gestures to the coast, riddled with starfish as far into the distance as the eye can see, "It doesn't matter how many you save, you know you can't save them all". The boy smiles, and he picks up another starfish. Looking up to the elder, he says "to this one it matters" before tossing the starfish with a splash, back into the sea.

Zen Monks differed from Buddhist Monks on one regard, they worked for a living. Buddhist Monks were more about meditating spirituality, often their temple and themselves were supported by charity. Zen Monks engaged the public. Sometimes becoming architects. They seeked to pursue spirituality in an active mode. This may not be 100% historically accurate, but it was the story I was told and it gave me food for thought.

A patch came out today, I had wanted to try it, but my dad needed help in the garden. I was upset, because I had been busy all month, and I was having a quite couple of days to myself to recoup. I never did totally get out of the mood, but under it all I appreciated that he had a day off we could work together. I know not how to get everything I want from life, but maybe, like the Zen monks, I can learn to be brave and share my spirituality, and learn to value it.

When I search content from another player, often times I'm trying to find a conversation we had. I request a filter that only shows threads I have posted in.
