to the person who posted this. Obviously you don't know about tactics and mission parameters in battle. Goal is to win. If the first parameter in the mission statement is "capture enemy base" or - collect 750 resources you go for it. You only go for the killing of all the enemy mechs if you are behind in enemy capture or resource collecting.
if you have speed in your select group, let them use it. Give them cover and distract the enemy. If in resource gathering, let the smaller mechs use their speed to get to the resource gathering areas. You use muscle and pound the crap out of enemy. Its called team work. So far in my limited time i have found a lot of players do not use the tools they have. Light mechs and mediums were meant to scout and harrass or gather and cap. Heavies and Assaulters meant to cover and pound.
All to often in my limited time I have seen victory slipped from my teams grasp because fools who don't work this strategy make it so.

really Fanboys? You have nothing better in your lives other than to argue about a game that will end up being free to you. Seriously, just **** and enjoy playing it when it comes out. These developers have worked hard to put out a product that looks really good. Stop trolling for gods sake and contribute to society instead of ******** about ranges of a weapon in a game.
In Topic: ER PPC ... Why no minimum range?
31 May 2012 - 02:30 AM
the ER PPC was given no minimum with the Clan to show the power of the Clan tech and their developers. In response the IS created the ER PPC (thanks to help from the Lostech files and Comstar) but with less power. However, because of the no minimum the IS (and game developers) saw that the extra heat was worth it.
Hope that helps.
