I know lots of people are having issues, and it sucks. This is not really the place for bug reports, although here is some preliminary troubleshooting you can try to do on your end:

• Clear the shader cache (Mechwarrior Online/USER delete the folder named shaders)
  
• update graphic drivers
  
• Update Adobe flash (if you use Chrome it keeps this updated)
  
• Remain calm

Be sure to check the official monthy Creative Director update when it come online sometime in early April. As always, keep your eyes on the Command Chair.

The patch basics:

• Server downtime should begin Tuesday around 10 am PDT (1pm EDT, 5 pm GMT)
  
• Server downtime typically lasts about 2-3 hours. Forums will be down/unstable during this downtime. You may not be able to login.
  
• Patch deployment comes after the downtime (approx 1pm PST, 4 pm EST, 9pm GMT) (A conservative estimate as patches seem to be coming out earlier in the process now!)
  
• Patch notes are typically not delivered until the patch deployment phase.

The "Heavy Metal" Hero Mech appears to be a take on Rhonda Snord's famously (and fabulously) pink custom Highlander. It appears to be arms with a gauss rifle (RA), LRM10 (OR TWENTY?) (LT) SRM6 (LT) and 3x Medium Lasers (LA). It also appears to have loudspeakers attached to it's head, making it possibly the first Hero Mech to come with additional 3D modeling and not just a special paint job.

Build A Trial Mech - Heavy Edition was fun, and the winner is Phorashi's custom Dragon 5N. See the build here! http://mwomercs.com/...ost__p__2055918 Armed with a Gauss rifle and a pair of large lasers, with a big fat 300xl engine to boot. Looks like a decent ride, and should be a much iproved experience for new pilots than a stock mech.

Jagermechs mount their ballistic (and in one case, missile) weapons to their arms, with their backup medium lasers or medium pulse lasers in the side torsos.




Jagermechs are famous for their negligible armor. They also come stock with a 260 rated engine, the same engine rating as the stock Catapults, so we can expect a similar speed:engine profile and similar maximum engine size.

I feel like the JM6-A will be the most interesting owing to it's unique hardpoint layout (unmatched by any other Heavy mech). You should also be prepared to fight dual AC-20 Jagers who will be much faster than their K2 counterparts and able to shoot up/down a slope!

I really miss this feature, not much else to say here: Please bring back weekly screenshots and wallpapers! I still have the Death Knell wallpaper up. The Spider one was disappointing (not even painted!) and we've had none since.

The community will especially enjoy seeing some teasers of the new upcoming content. now, we did get a shot of the X-5 early, and we saw Alpine Peaks in the background of the Pretty Baby... But these were on the front page, and were not even given a user-friendly link to the full view of the image (which one could find by rooting around in the page source)

No reason to limit it to a single image, either. Let's see multiple configurations of the Jagermech, let's see some epic vistas of Tourmaline Desert, Just walk over the map once and get half a dozen good shots.

I'd love to have an epic Jagermech wallpaper to tide me over until the 19th.

Will flesh this out further tomorrow.

AC/10 needs some lovin'. Make me WANT to take two AC/10s!
