All mechs looking the same...

Is it me or are all the mechs lookign liek they came off the SAME assembly line. These things were supposed to have come from different manufacturers many worlds apart and yet they have very similar design features. Unusual. Can the artist/team be encouraged to do somethign out fo the box or are we stuck with next to same clones for each mech? Its getting tiresome and i haven't even played yet.

Is Liao society, a proclaimed meritocracy, modeled on the society of North Korea?

Dictatorship (chancellorship retained through military patronage and repression), repression (caste society enforced from birth), murder to keep order (Death Commando s and Maskirovka turned on the populace to keep them in line), forced labor camps, military elites control industry.... discuss.

Alliance with House Marik?

Securing a border is always preferable to fighting on all fronts. Whos for securing the Marik border with an alliance? That'd free us upto kick the Fedcom in the nuts right off the bat. Magistracy looks way too independent as well.

mycryengine.com, spec system tests, results

Russ can we get you to run, on your in house testing machines, the mycryengine.com sdk and post results from your system builds to give us an idea of the performance you are experiencing vs the resulting fps the sdk shows us. In short is it realistic to think of the sdk as a good indicator of in game performace on mwo as it is now? Thanks in advance.

Opinions:

AMD A10-5700 3.4GHz (Quad/64bit/4mb cache), GPU 7660D; 1TB sata drive, 10gb 1600 ddr3, Windows 7

Thinking about:

Configurable HUDs

The motherboard is mediocre and cant do crossfire, the GPU is only a 7660 but compares okay to recommended specs; I can upgrade that if the GPU is inadequate.
