I've noticed that it seems pretty rare that anyone takes up the reigns as a team commander. I've also noticed that, while most games in conquest wind up becoming a death match rather than about capturing bases, no one seems to like the idea of capturing bases in Assault. But what if we had a game type where the primary goal wasn't just wiping out the enemy team, but killing a designated team leader?
The leader would be randomly selected and only known to that team (No star or anything over the leaders head for the enemy to easily find). The game is over when either the entire team is wiped out or the leader is killed. No base captures to worry about. The team leader would have all the benefits you'd expect given how the game already lays out the team leaders abilities already, but rewards for killing the leader could outweigh just mindlessly wiping out the entire team for a quick game ender.
